Algebraic knots and links of degree 5 and 6
Résumé :
The talk will review topological and rigid classifications
of algebraic knots and link in RP3 of degree 5 and 6
obtained recently by Stepan Orevkov and the speaker.
As in the classification of rational algebraic knots of
degree 5 obtained earlier by Johan Bjorklund, the key
role is played by the so-called "encomplexed writhe",
or the Viro invariant of spatial real algebraic curves.
The talk will also review this fundamental notion.
